Shoe heaven!

All shoes taken from the Clarks' sale
Quick one from me today darlings, I'm being a bit of a social butterfly and have been busy the last few days with friends! However, just thought I'd point out the Clarks' sale to you all - I popped in last weekend (at home) when my dad was searching for some proper shoes to wear in the snowy weather and was startled to find these beauties!

These little gems are priced up to £60 and, being genuine leather are worth every penny. Clarks', unlike other high street brands, sells quality footwear. There's nothing wrong with returning to your childhood and donning a pair of lovely shoes from an actual shoe shop!

Lots of love xxxxx

Heart & Sole: Classic Heels Campaign, round 2

So ladies, you know the drill. Myself, Dayner, Lisette & Jo clubbed together to create some fantastic looks which don't include these impractical, sky-high heels which seem to have flooded the high street for the past few years.

Don't get me wrong, if you're a confident girl who loves the height and style of these shoes, that's brilliant - you probably wear them well. But for the rest of us who are either too tall for these giants of the shoe world, or those who simply can't walk in mahoosive heels.

Here's the next three looks for you to lust over!

This is my second outfit, featuring shoes from Aldo & clothes from Miss Selfridge:

Here's Jo from Eyes&EarsBlog's second look:

Here's Lisette's from LisetteLoves take on the Military trend:

Finally, here's Dayner, from Mozzypop's second look:

Hope you like the looks guys, the last instalment of this collaboration will go live next week - so keep your eyes open!

Have a great week!

Heart and Sole. Classic heels campaign

Hello lovelies,

A few days ago I mentioned a project that I was taking part in a project with three other bloggers, well now I'm happy to say that I can reveal all!

Myself, the lovely Dayner from Mozzypop, Jo from the fabulous Eyes&Ears blog and the gorgeous Lisette from LisetteLoves have banded together to discuss something that we feel is a problem for fashion-conscious girls...the mega heel.

The seven inch monstrosities rolling off the production lines of many well-known high street chains has meant that girls like us, i.e. above average height, have to settle for flats (boring) or totter around helplessly, looking like the love child of Bambi and the BFG.

So, as bloggers are normally the forefront of any fashion-related campaign, we thought we'd try our hand at promoting the classic heel - a shoe between 2-4 inches which girls can actually walk in and compliment an outfit rather than becoming the main focus of a look.

We each took three high-street stores, found our fave pair of shoes from each (which met the classic shoe criteria) and styled them up, to show our lovely readers that the highest heels aren't necessarily the most beautiful.

We've decided to publish our looks over the next few weeks, so here's the first instalment.

My three chosen shops were: Topshop, Aldo shoes & online shoe boutique Kate Kanzier. Both looks for Aldo & Kate Kanzier have been styled using clothes from Miss Selfridge.

Here's the first of my looks from Topshop!

Lisette from Lisette Loves!

Here's Jo from Eyes&Ears blog's first look from Urban Outfitters!

Dayner from Mozzypop has created an amazing look from Next!

So here are our first three looks! Hope you like them and keep reading over the next few weeks!

Heyy, I've got some new shoes on...

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I last posted, but things have been 'up in the air' in the Nagaitis household. The wireless internet stopped working on Tuesday, decided to take a break for a couple of days and then returned to us better and speedier than ever! It's been stressful I can tell you, I never realised how much we rely on computers in today's world, and going cold turkey really didn't suit me.

This was mainly because I've got so much to say blog-wise! I've got some lovely new bargains and I'll be having a major blog sale in the next few days, so keep a look out! (I'm going to have to make a whole new page on my blog for all the items I've found!)

Anyway, back to the point of this post: NEW SHOES!

For me, nothing says more about a person than the shoes they're wearing. Whenever I meet someone, I always have to 'eye-up' their shoes, especially my friends' new boyfriends - if the guy's wearing Toms I'm really not a fan.

One of my favourite styles of shoe is the classic Brogue, something I'm happy to say, has been embraced by fashionistas everywhere, and looks to be hanging round right through the seasons. When I saw these little beauties in the Topshop sale I had to have them!

These gorgeous Mint Brogues are made of the softest leather and can be linked to multiple summer trends. There's a nod to the under-the-sea trend seen at Versace and Chanel, the leather on these babies is a Mint colour, channelling the pastel hues we saw early spring on the catwalk and the classic style is definitely a look that can be linked to the androgynous look that's been so popular with designers.

In short, I love them and haven't had them off my feet since I bought them!

Has anyone bought any gorgeous shoes to rival my lovely new brogues?
